Arizona Resources

Arizona Agricultural Experiment Station
The Arizona Agricultural Experiment Station is the research arm of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Arizona. Research is conducted in the various departments and schools on campus, as well as at Agricultural Centers throughout the state.


Arizona Department of Agriculture
Works to regulate and support Arizona agriculture in a manner that encourages farming, ranching, and agribusiness while protecting consumers and natural resources. Its' Office of Marketing and Outreach supports Arizona agriculture by providing a number of marketing and outreach services.


Arizona Cooperative Extension
The Arizona Cooperative Extension is a service of the University of Arizona. The Cooperative Extension has resources to help with farm related direct marketing.



Colorado Resources

Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station
The mission of the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station is to conduct research that addresses the economic viability, environmental sustainability, and social acceptability of activities impacting agriculture, natural resources, and consumers in Colorado.


Colorado Department of Agriculture: Division of Markets
Helps Colorado food and agricultural companies sell their products in local, regional, national and international markets. The department provides domestic and international marketing assistance, agricultural business plan review, business development workshops, useful publications, and more.


Colorado Farm Fresh Directory
A yearly publication of farms and farmers markets across Colorado. These farms and farmers markets feature the highest quality, Colorado-grown produce. Inside you will also find information about county fairs, agricultural festivals, extension offices as well as a crop calendar. (under "Directories" listing)

Colorado State Cooperative Extension
This site offers fact sheets, agriculture, and business management information, market reports, marketing assistance and more.


New Mexico Resources

New Mexico Department of Agriculture
A producer-consumer service and regulatory department under the New Mexico State University (NMSU) Board of Regents. Its Marketing and Development Division assists in the development of new markets and expansion of existing markets, both domestic and international, for farm products and livestock produced or processed in the state.

New Mexico - Taste the Tradition

Started in 2000, "New Mexico - Taste the Tradition" and "New Mexico - Grown" are intended to help improve and expand markets for New Mexico agricultural products by increasing awareness and encouraging consumers to purchase products with the respective logos.  The logos are designed to emphasize the uniqueness of New Mexico agricultural products and the traditions behind them.

Utah Agricultural Experiment Station generates knowledge and new technology for improving the diverse system of agriculture and natural resources that feeds, clothes, houses and enhances the environment for Utah's citizens.


Utah's Own
Utah's Own is a project of the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food that helps to promote products produced in Utah.


State of Utah Department of Agriculture and Food
The Division of Marketing & Conservation works with agricultural producers and agribusinesses to help expand markets, add value to locally grown commodities, and develop new products. They also help to promote value-added processing for local, national and international markets.


Utah State University Extension
Provides information and assistance to farmers, ranchers and other businesses improve their "bottom line" and help them evaluate the risks associated with marketing and producing goods and services.
